acta manent was founded in 2007 by Philippe Violet-Vianello, previously co-founder of specialist consulting group Sterling International. Philippe Violet-Vianello has been actively consulting in the sector of Fashion, Retail and Luxury Goods ("FRLG") for over 15 years, after several years of strategy consulting and general management responsibilities in the retail sector.

Philippe has led multiple international development assignments, growing businesses in designerwear, accessories, food and beverages, specialty retailing, ... through hands-on involvement and the structuring of licensing, franchising and joint-venture agreements in multiple regions, in particular Europe, the Middle East, and China. He has also successfully managed the sale and purchase of brands and raised equity for companies to support their growth.

Philippe graduated in business from HEC (1986) and INSEAD (MBA 1991) and speaks fluent French, English and Italian.

The Acta Manent team is made of senior professionals, with a combination of operational, finance and consulting experience in the FRLG sector, deep understanding of brand dynamics and sensitivity for the creative specificities of the sector.
